BNB
The Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB), the largest regional development bank in Latin America, faced challenges in maintaining and enhancing its internet and intranet portals due to a lack of specialized expertise in the Liferay platform. With over 10,000 internal users, 1.5 million monthly visits, and the need to modernize the digital experience, the challenge was to ensure usability, accessibility, and agility in publishing strategic content for both internal and external audiences. EMBASA
Embasa (Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento) began an innovation journey to enhance customer experience and increase the efficiency of its digital channels, including the Virtual Agency, the institutional portal, and the relationship portal with municipalities. The goal was to provide more agile, personalized, and accessible services through a robust platform that ensured practicality, usability, and full integration with corporate systems. With the support of Pitang, a Liferay partner in Brazil since 2014, the company modernized its digital portals, expanding the online services available — such as requesting new water connections, ordering water trucks, or filing complaints — while granting business areas full autonomy to manage content. The project resulted in significant improvements in performance, cost and response time reduction, increased customer adoption of digital channels, and the optimization of physical branches, strengthening both customer satisfaction and Embasa’s digital transformation strategy.
RB Capital
RB SEC, the RB Capital arm focused on securitization, faced challenges with its website, which operated independently from other digital solutions. This increased the workload for operational and technology teams and complicated compliance with CVM regulatory obligations, which require fast and accurate information disclosure. The challenge was to integrate legacy systems, scale operations, and provide a simple, secure, and consistent digital experience for clients and investors in real time.
